WELCOME TO AGORA
AGORA was set up as a discussion cum civic watchdog group, by like minded independent and free thinking professionals. The driving force behind the group is the serious lack of debate and objective exchange of opinion especially as regards subjects of national interest and the public decision making process. We believe that we express the views held, but mostly unspoken, of a large section of the population. We hope that by taking the initiative of expressing our views openly and away from the shroud of anonymity, we can encourage others to follow in our footsteps and generate healthy debates so necessary to any democratic and forward looking society. We do not use AGORA as a forum to disseminate our political views but we do appeal to politicians from all parties to express their commitment to the values of transparency, fairness, equity and respect which we propound. »» Click here to know more about us |
